Pain and Anesthesia during Treatment Pain
Although most Plasma lift treatment is virtually pain-free, your own treatment may be moderately uncomfortable depending on where you are being treated – especially eyelid procedures where the skin is at its thinnest and your own sensitivities and tolerances.Your specialist will work closely with you on this, including selecting the most effective numbing agent (s). The Plasma device and super-fine probes allow the specialists to operate swiftly and efficiently, reducing any potential discomfort you may have.
Types of anesthesia used by Plasma Fibroblast technicians
Local anesthetics approved by the Food and Drug administration are commonly used by technicians. Many of these are also available in over-the-counter strength for home use: lidocaine, which numbs only the immediate area to be worked on and is mainly used for less invasive procedures.- Use of heavy caffeine prior to treatment
- Anxiety that causes cortisol secretion that increases your heart rate
- Your skin is cold for instance somebody that has winter feet or winter hands will be more sensitive
- Used thick oil-based creams on day or day before treatment such as a body butter
- You have a slow metabolism
- Certain medications
- If you have some type of pain sensitivity such as fibromyalgia or the likes, you could also be more sensitive, and experience some swelling, trauma, and a longer time with healing developmental Skin abnormalities
